There is a lovely promenade right by the shore which is illuminated during the evening hours. Every now and then local folk organise festivities for all to participate in, which is known in Croatian as "ribarske veceri" ("fishermen's evenings"). ISLAND OF HVAR If you are more of a night owl and prefer activities such as beach parties, clubbing and concerts, or you want to spend your holiday more actively with tennis, golf, basketball, soccer, hiking or cycling, you will find plenty of opportunity to enjoy these in the nearby towns of Hvar, Starigrad, Vrbovska and most notably Jelsa. |
